Burlington's Economic Development Board's (BEDB) regularly scheduled meeting is the second Tuesday of each month. When necessary, additional meetings are scheduled.
Members
Burlington's Economic Development Board consists of various community and business members appointed to the board by the City Council.
Responsibilities
This board plays an active role in the economic development efforts of Burlington and its surrounding areas, including reviewing applications for incentive packages for new or expanding businesses and making recommendations pertaining to such incentives to the City Council. The Burlington Department of Economic Development is a certified Enterprise Zone Contribution Project by the Colorado Economic Development Commission and is eligible for financial contributions providing tax credits to contributors.
